SCHEDULES AND CANCELLATIONS

At House Cleaning Sacramento, we work diligently to stay on schedule, providing you with an estimated arrival time that may vary by up to 30 minutes before or after the scheduled time. While we aim to be prompt, factors beyond our control, such as traffic, weather, or last-minute cancellations, can occasionally cause delays.

In the event that our team is delayed beyond 30 minutes of your scheduled time, we will notify you as soon as possible with an updated arrival time.

For our team to access your property, it’s essential that we have the necessary entry arrangements. If you haven’t provided a key and you’re not home when we arrive, and you’re unable to return within 10 minutes, a $75.00 cancellation fee will be applied. Similarly, if an alarm cannot be deactivated with the provided code and you cannot supply a valid code or arrive promptly to disable it, the same cancellation fee will apply. If you do arrive, our cleaning time will begin upon your arrival, and we will either complete the cleaning as planned or perform an abbreviated service if time permits.

If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please contact our office directly via phone or email. Notifications given to our cleaning team on-site cannot be accepted.

To avoid a $75.00 fee, please ensure cancellations or rescheduling requests are made at least 48 hours before your scheduled appointment. For Monday appointments, requests must be submitted by 4:00 p.m. on the preceding Friday. While we’ll do our best to accommodate your rescheduling preferences, we cannot guarantee the same time slot, day, or crew.

Exceptions: We understand that emergencies can occur, such as illness or unexpected trips to the emergency room. If such a situation arises, please notify our office as soon as possible, and we will work with you to adjust your appointment without penalty

LATE PAYMENTS AND RETURNED CHECKS

Payment for services is due in full by the 15th of the month following your service. Accounts that remain unpaid for 90 days or more will incur a late fee of 10% of the outstanding balance. We value your timely payments as much as you value our reliable services!

In the event of a returned check, a $25.00 service fee will be applied. If the check is not resolved within 30 days of notification, additional charges may apply—up to three times the check amount (with a minimum of $100.00 and a maximum of $1,500.00), plus the original check amount, in accordance with C.C.C. Sec. 1719.
